Stigbøylegummien har samme patenterte mønster som SCS3-sko/støvlens yttersåle. Når stigbøylegummien og yttersålen møtes, integreres mønsteret som gir et optimal feste uten at foten sitter fast. Dette forhindrer foten å gli frem gjennom stigbøylen. Det finnes 4 posisjoner. Dette gir rytteren mulighet til å skifte posisjon etter situasjon og ønske. Stigbøylegummien er oppbygd i 2 støtabsorberende lag, noen som også fører til avlastning på føtter, knær og rygg.

SCS3 Lite stirrup tread offers exceptional control with shock absorbing features.
• The SCS3 Stirrup tread is equipped with the SCS3 system, which engage the SCS3 outsole in the SCS3 stirrup tread without permanently ”locking” the stirrup tread.
• The SCS3 tread is equipped with a layer of airblown EVA for outstanding shock absorption in the stirrup.
• All Mountain Horse stirrup treads are available as both straight and angled.

Both SCS3 Lite and Grip systems can be used with all other conventional riding footwear and stirrups.
Boots and shoe equipped with SCS3 Lite® can be used with all other conventional stirrups/stirrup treads on the market. Please note, however, that it is recommended to use SCS3 Lite® stirrup treads with the SCS3 Lite® boots in order to maximise performance
of the system.
When the SCS3 Lite® System is not in use (with the SCS3 Lite® Stirrup tread), then the SCS3 Lite® footwear will function like any other standard riding footwear and will not feel different in any way, either when riding in conventional stirrups / stirrup treads or walking etc.This is because the SCS3 Lite® only uses a rubber tread like any other regular rubber outsole.
SCS3 Grip stirrup tread offers exceptional grip and control in the stirrup.

SCS3 system is not fully functional in cases where outsoles
without the SCS3 system are used.
